Hum's key focus on cognitive ergonomics eliminated weaknesses that existed in some of the other benching systems on the market. IA concluded that Hum addressed their needs, by taking into account how people work. Hum could be tailored to meet all of their functional and aesthetic requirements.

Since workplace strategy is their business, IA inherently understood the benefits of the open, collaborative Hum environment. "Hum really has helped with mentoring, with information sharing," says Kay Sargent, Principal, IA Interior Architects. "It's really changed some of our habits. It seems to meet the needs of all of the staff very, very well."
