Johnson Bank

Challenge
Contemporary Solutions, Smart Furniture
Johnson Bank's stunning new building in Madison needed stylish and smart furniture that gave a contemporary feel. They also needed to maximize space to fit into smaller offices.

The Kimball Office furniture had to:
  • Work in open plan and private office, so flexibility was key.
  • Combine a rich mix of materials for a contemporary feel.
  • Layer worksurfaces over storage, to give associates equal surface and storage space in a smaller office.
  • Require little or simple adjustments for sleek, ergonomic desk and conference room seating.

  • Solution
    Flexible, Simple, and Sustainable
Working with Plunkett Raysich Architects, the corporate facility planners insisted on Kimball Office furnishings, explaining that they've standardized on Kimball Office for good reason.

"Kimball Office has always provided great customer service, great product" says Sue Purgill, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Planning.

    Furniture used:
    • Fluent desks and storage
    • Xsite panel system
    • Conferencing Solutions tables
    • Adagiato, Bingo, Hero. Just for You., and Mitos seating

    Results
    Maximizing the Space
In private offices, Fluent U-configurations create a cockpit to use of every inch of worksurface. Low height leg assemblies were used over component pedestals to maximize storage space.

In the open plan, Fluent components are placed within Xsite panels, carrying the aesthetic throughout the building.

Kimball Office l Interstuhl seating offered sleek seating options that adjust intuitively to the user. "Sit in it and go" says Purgill.
