The bold young developers at Brady Sullivan are known for breathing new life into downtown Manchester, New Hampshire. Fame came with their first renovation of a crumbling textile mill that was "home to more pigeons than tenants," according to partner Arthur Sullivan. That same old mill is now an elite, 95%-occupied office site.

After that resounding success, partners Arthur Sullivan and Shane Brady decided to repeat the rehab process for their own company headquarters, turning another old mill into a historic showcase for their fast-growing company.

Design Challenge
"There was immense detail in this renovation," says Mark Farmer of Alliance Office Furniture in nearby Nashua, New Hampshire. "The client was adamant about creating and maintaining a highlevel aesthetic."

"We specialize in historic properties," says Brady Sullivan's president, Arthur Sullivan. Accordingly, the company wanted to keep their building's original look, but to add an updated flair. That determination and aesthetic sense led them to choose Kimball Office's Evoke wood casegoods in an Amber Cherry finish. They singled out Evoke amid "fierce competition" for its fine detail and "seamless" finish, says Farmer.

The Kimball Office Solution
They first saw Evoke products in maple, at the same time they were considering "every competitor out there," according to Farmer. But when they returned to Alliance to see an Evoke set-up in Amber Cherry, a strong preference quickly formed.

"Ultimately, they even color-matched their mill molding to match Evoke," Farmer happily recalls. Today, those Amber Cherry casegoods glow under 15-foot ceilings, atop the old mill's original wood floors. "This doesn't just appear to be a great building with nice furniture. It's very integrated," Farmer notes.

Along with Evoke, Definition casegoods, Cetra systems and Conferencing Solutions tables complete the spaces. Eye-catching seating includes several Kimball Office chair lines.

"I am very impressed with the quality of the Kimball Office furniture we purchased," says Arthur Sullivan. "I can see we made the right choice."
