Design Challenge
Create an environment reflective of the company's high-tech market image with clean,
simple lines and superior design functionality. To do this, DCSI formed a fifteen
member focus group with representation from engineering, marketing, general office
and others. This group unanimously chose the Kimball Office Xsite product because
of its aesthetically-superb design detail, flexibility and quality. A light maple
with platinum Cetra reception station offers a warm welcome to the building.

and a host of other factors. These factors included not only a recommendation from
the architect, but visual inspection of the products, warranty, quality, perceived
value, service, and other issues evaluated by the selection committee."

Upon finalizing the project, DCSI felt Kimball Office products stood out as best
in class, while also being the most cost effective option. They liked the flexibility
of Xsite in adjusting panel sizes to accommodate their building columns, as well
as the low cost to own and manage the product. This feature is possible due to the
small number of parts required to create all widths for this panel system. Value-priced
fabrics and tile independence provided a very striking aestheitic without affecting
the function of the stations or the cost of the overall project.
