Peter Wooding
Peter Wooding, FIDSA, ASID, co-founded Rhode Island-based Wooding Design
Associates (PWDA) with his wife Joann in 1978, adhering to a multi-disciplinary
philosophy that includes interior design, product design, and furniture and
systems design.
Mr. Wooding's career began at Herman Miller Research under Robert Propst, which
led to his work at the General Electric Applied Research Division. He then
became Design Director of the internationally recognized Research and Design
Institute. His firm has received numerous awards including the American Society
of Interior Designers award and the Industrial Designers Society of America
Idea award.
Most recently, Wooding Design Associates' design work on the Kimball Office
casegoods series "Evoke" helped the company land a Best of NeoCon Silver award
in the Desks category in 2002.
